The doors of the Phillipsburg Mall will swing open to the public at 11 AM on opening day set for Sunday, March 5th. The interview session of Nazareth Speedway driving legends will follow with a special event honoring “The Pride of Pen Argyl” Tighe Scott and racing writer and publisher Lew Boyd (Paved Track/Dirt Track). All area race tracks have been invitedto the show and all historical racing groups including Tri State, Flemington, Reading, Nazareth, Harmony and Dorney Park will have their memorabilia on display and their many scrapbooks open for the fans to take another long look at the glory years of racing and possibly find a picture or two they want to purchase as a keepsake from past glory or racing exploits. The announcing team of Ed and Steve Pados, Bobby Stull, Justin Beltrame and Alex Greenzweig are in place to handle the interview sessions for the tenth consecutive season and guest announcers will assist throughout the week. The show has also incorporated Drag Racing into the show and all drag strips in the area have been invited to take part in the show.
