Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / LANCASTER SPEEDWAY – LANCASTER, NY – As part of a series of announcements made during its annual preseason registration meeting on Friday, Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway announced that X-Press Signs of West Seneca, N.Y. has agreed to become the title sponsor of its Stock Car program.
The Stock Car program at Lancaster, which competes on Saturdays from late April until September, will now be known as the X-Press Signs Stock Car Series.
This agreement expands X-Press Signs’ marketing partnership with the facility as they will also continue in their role as the Official Sign Company of Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway. X-Press has been in that role since 2015 and has overhauled signage around the facility as well as installed new sponsorship signage.
“This is incredible for our Stock Car teams and we can’t thank Rick Johnson from X-Press Signs enough for this commitment and show of support,” said Tim Packman, Track President. “Having a company like this come on board not only enhances our program, but shows Lancaster is continuing to grow in a positive direction.
“They have done a great job with the important signage around Lancaster and many of our teams use their vehicle design and wrap services. I am personally pleased to put a formal name on our incredible Saturday night racing action fans have been turning out to see each weekend.”
X-Press Signs joins Franco’s Pizza as official title sponsors of Lancaster’s motorsports programs. Franco’s Pizza has been the presenting sponsor for the Friday night IHRA Drag Racing program since 2015. They are located at 1780 Union Rd in West Seneca. Lancaster National Speedway opens the 2017 season on Saturday, April 22 with a 2 p.m. start time for the Queen City Clash. Lancaster National Dragway has Test & Tune on Friday, April 28 with points racing starting on Friday, May 5.
