Story By: ROB HAZER / KING OF DIRT – FONDA, NY – King Of Dirt Racing continues to prepare for the upcoming season of dirt track racing in the Northeast. Working with marketing partners is part of that preparation, which includes welcoming new faces to the growing family of sponsors. In 2017 both the Small Block Modified and Sportsman divisions will receive bonuses for earning a 6th place finish courtesy of new series marketing partner Fast Axle.
For as long as he can remember, Eric Orschel and his father Arnold wanted to change the game in front axle technology. From easy to replace stub ends to fully customized axles with preferred caster, their company Fast Axle can handle your demands to maximize your racecar performance getting into and out of the turns.
Every single item provided by Fast Axle comes made with precision and performs at the highest level. Drivers such as JR Heffner, Brett Hearn, Jeff Watson, Neil Stratton, Wayne Jelly, and more choose Fast Axle products to help get them to victory lane. They also offer products for winged warriors of the Sprint Car ranks.
“After talking with Eric to say our marketing partnership was a home run for Fast Axle is an understatement. He enjoys the way we do things and how we treat the drivers. He had a way he wanted to award his product and that’s what we’ll do for him. It’s going to be an exciting season,” said KOD promoter Rob Hazer.
Throughout the King Of Dirt Racing season each driver finishing sixth in both the Elmo’s Speed Supply Small Block Modifieds and the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Sportsman presented by Dean’s Electrical Services and Dodson Construction will earn a $50 certificate towards Fast Axle Products.
On top of that Fast axle will be offering certificates at the year end Night Of Champions banquet again to both the Small Block Modified drivers and Sportsman teams.
“I’m excited to have Eric and Fast Axle on board. He’s willing to do something to reward drivers and that’s fits perfectly with what we do at KOD. I have to thank Neil Stratton also. He put us in touch with one another and it worked out,” concluded Rob Hazer.
The 2017 King Of Dirt Racing Small Block Modified season kicks off Tuesday June 13th at Devil’s Bowl Speedway with a rain date of Wednesday June 14th. The King Of Dirt Racing Sportsman and Pro Stocks kick off the season Sunday May 14th at Utica Rome Speedway where last year qualifying spots were at a premium due to overwhelming car counts in both divisions.
With the schedule now set and the rules up on the website, it’s only a matter of time before a very busy season of racing gets underway for King Of Dirt Racing.
