Story By: RYAN HILL / KOLBY SCHRODER RACING – STRAATSBURG, NY – Kolby Schroder opened the 2017 season in strong fashion with a second place finish to Andy Bachetti at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Due to weather and technical issues forcing the first month of Lebanon Valley’s season to sputter through its first month It has been nearly a month since the Top Notch Builders 99 big block modified has raced for points and the 99 team is eager to get back to the High Banks.
This Saturday will be double features for the big block modifieds, and with a positive weather forecast and confidence in his cars, Kolby is ready for the weekend.
“Everyone on the 99 team is extremely excited for this weekend and the double features”Kolby said. “Our new Teo Pro Car seems to be very fast this year and there is alot of excitement with our crew and sponsors so far this season.”
The 2017 season is in its infancy, but Kolby is pleased with his cars’ performance thus far as the team worked hard and made some calculated changes in their approach to setting the cars up for weekly racing at Lebanon Valley.
“I am very confident this year having a car that is handling well, and driving how I like it. Hopefully there is nothing but good things to come this season. We need to stay out of trouble and keep getting solid finishes to hopefully stay in the top five of the points standings. I would like to thank my crew, sponsors, and partners for putting together two stellar race cars for the 2017 season.”
Kolby and the Top Notch Builders 99 team will be back in action this Saturday May 20th for double big block modified features at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
