Story By: CLAYTON JOHNS / TIM KERR RACING – PICTON, ONT – Tim Kerr started the month of June with another top-10 finish in Big-Block Modified competition at Fulton Speedway on Saturday night. It was an impressive bounce-back effort for the driver of the Village Variety and Gas Bar No.07 after he was involved in a race-ending incident on Friday night at Brewerton Speedway.
“It was just one of those racing deals where we were in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Kerr said. “We tore it up pretty good, but we fixed it for Saturday.”
Kerr won his second heat race of the season on Saturday at Fulton before racing to an 8th-place finish in the Feature.
“The car was good, it just got tight in the middle of the race,” Kerr explained.
Kerr and his team will be back in action at Brewerton and Fulton this week on June 9 and 10.
