Here is how the young driver out of Amenia, NY answered our ten questions.
1) WHY ARE YOU #46?
Playing sports in high school I always had number 15. When I started racing the number was taken. Always been a fan of days of thunder so 46 it was.
2- WHAT TYPE OF RACE CAR WOULD YOU LIKE TO DRIVE?
I love full-fendered racing, so Late Models.
3-WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST RACING MOMENT?
When I won my first race last season on the last night of the year. We had a rough so seeing the smile on my dad’s face is something I will never forget.
4- WHAT IS YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING RACING MOMENT?
Definitely putting it into the wall in warm ups this year, I couldn’t have felt more stupid.
5- BEFORE YOU WERE A DRIVER, WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE DRIVER?
Brett Hearn. The guy can drive.
6- WHAT RACE WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN THE MOST?
Any race at Super Dirt Week racing against the best of the best.
7- HOW DID YOU START RACING?
I have always loved racing, but I had a friend in high school that raced. I always went up to watch him and decided I wanted to start strapping into a car.
8- WHAT IS A BUCKET LIST TRACK FOR YOU TO RACE AT?
The Dirt Track at Charlotte. I have been going to the World Finals there since ’12 and it is always great racing. I would love to be a part of that.
9- WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS AS A DRIVER?
I try to be smooth and not force any issues.
10- WHAT DO YOU NEED TO IMPROVE AS A DRIVER?
I need to feel more of what the car is doing so we can make better adjustments.
WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO THANK?
I can’t thank everyone enough, but I need to thank my dad first of all, because none of this would be close to possible if wasn’t for all he does for me. I would also like to thank my mom, Eddie Bishop, Sid Ball, David Jenkins, Eddie Hurn and my sponsors DJ Reilly Construction, KB Auto Repair and Towing, Bulldog Concrete and CF Customs.
