Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Brock Zearfoss’ weekend in Pennsylvania proved successful, not only securing another top-five finish at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” but also earning a top-ten finish at Lernerville Speedway during his first-ever visit.
Zearfoss, who entered the weekend as a two-time winner thus far in 2018, joined the All Star Circuit of Champions at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., on Friday, June 1. A third place finish during heat race competition solidified his spot in the evening’s $5,000-to-win main event, ultimately lining up 12th on the starting grid. Zearfoss rallied three spots during the 30-lap program, crossing under the final checkers ninth in the running order.
The “Jonestown Jet” concluded his weekend in the Keystone State with a fourth place performance at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 2. The near-podium run increased his season top-five total to nine, now with 15 top-ten finishes.
“Not a bad weekend. We were pretty happy with our results at Lernerville. To go to a place for the first time and earn a top-ten is pretty special, especially against that level of competition,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Creekside Roofing and Siding/Bargain Barn/No. 3Z. “I can’t thank everyone involved with this team enough. This is a family deal, but all of our partners have evolved into family, as well. It’s a great thing we have going. I’m excited to keep this season moving and attempt to beat the All Stars again this weekend while in New York.”
Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2018 campaign with four races in four days, three of which inside the Empire State. The “Jonestown Jet” will kick-off his long weekend with a visit to BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pa., for the Kevin Gobrecht Classic on Thursday, June 7.
Immediately following his visit to BAPS Motor Speedway, Zearfoss will hit the highway and head north, ready to challenge the All Star Circuit of Champions at three tracks in three days beginning Friday, June 8, at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, New York. The weekend will continue with action at the “New” Stateline Speedway near Jamestown, N.Y., on Saturday, June 9, all capped off with a visit to Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, N.Y., on Sunday, June 10. All three All Star programs will award $5,000 top prizes.
