Column By: ROBERT SYMONDS / RACE PRO WEEKLY – MALTA, NY – Just after the news broke of Scott Duell’s uncertain future with racing at Albany-Saratoga in 2019, some good news was just released on social media.
Scott Duell will be piloting the Stratton Motorsports number 87ZG to start the season at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. For the first 5 races of 2019, Duell will be in the drivers seat as Hector Stratton is stepping back into the crew chief role until Devils Bowl Raceway starts in late May.
Hunter Stratton, Hector’s son, broke the news on his Facebook:
