Column By: ROBERT SYMONDS / RPW – MOORESBURG, TN – Just a few days away from a major tour race with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Scott Bloomquist had been involved in a motorcycle accident.
A lot is unclear about Bloomquist’s accident at this time as only a brief statement was released. However at this time, a member of Team Zero made the following statement on Twitter this afternoon.
“Scott would like to thank everyone for their prayers! The impact was on the right leg/hip with no other injuries. Just needing time to heal and physical therapy to get back on track…we will keep the fans updated best we can! Thanks again -Team Zero”
Bloomquist is a three time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion and has won more than 600 feature events.
This accident will have a profound impact on the rest of the 2019 Season for Bloomquist. Race Pro Weekly will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates when they become available.
