Story By: COFFEY MCCREADIE ENTERPRISES – WATERTOWN, NY – Fresh off a strong ‘Dirt Late Model Dream’ weekend at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, which was highlighted by a fifth place effort in the $10,000 to win weekend opener and culminated with a twelfth place performance in Saturday’s $125,000 to win headliner, Tim McCreadie regrettably revealed today that he will not be able to attend an upcoming 358 DIRTcar Modified show that he originally committed to running.
Due to recent rain-outs and the rescheduling of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events that same week, Tim will be unable to sling dirt on Wednesday, June 26 at the nearby Can-Am Speedway in LaFargeville, New York.
“I really hate that I can’t make it to Can-Am Speedway like I had originally planned and I have to apologize to my fans that were hoping to see me race a 358 Modified that night,” commented McCreadie earlier today. “I was really looking forward to competing again at the track where I basically cut my teeth at and in front of a lot of my area fans, but the rain-outs and rescheduling of the Tazewell and Florence shows have made that impossible. With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series our number one priority, I’ll need to place my focus on prepping our cars that week for those two point races. I wish nothing but the best for Can-Am Speedway and hope the fans see a great show on June 26!”
Tim and his Sweeteners Plus team will be back on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail from June 13-15 in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Up first will be a trip today to Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina for a $10,000 to win throwdown later tonight, while the #39 team will vie for a $12,000 payday on Friday evening at the legendary Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Saturday’s weekend finale, which boasts a $15,000 top prize, will then take place at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee. Tim comes into the tripleheader weekend sixth in the latest version of the heated LOLMDS point standings.
