Story By: DAVE MEDLER / FULTON SPEEDWAY – FULTON, NY – One of the most anticipated Late Model races in the region for racers and fans alike will take place at the Fulton Speedway Friday, October 4th as part of the prestigious 34th Annual Stadium International Trucks Outlaw 200 Weekend Friday & Saturday, October 4-5.
The weekly Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models at the speedway produce great side-by-side racing, with most features coming down to a drag race to the checkers out of turn four. Now, throw in invaders, plus the weekly field, it’s anyone’s guess who will be holding the $1,000 Pit Stop Convenience Stores check and trophy at the end of 50 hard-fought laps.
In 2018 a fan was overheard yelling, “Write the check, nobody can stop the Canadian freight train,” when talking about Charlie Sandercock who has won three-straight Outlaw 200 Weekend Late Model events.
A stout field of Fulton regulars led by track champion Chad Homan plus Chris Fleming, Bret Belden, Kevan Cook, Kyle Sopaz, Max Hill, Dale Caswell and others will be looking to keep the Outlaw loot on home turf!
