Story By: CHRIS GRAHAM / NATIONAL RACING NETWORK – WARMINSTER, PA – The National Racing Network announced a new racing talk-show coming to the NRN family of platforms in 2021.
“The Highside Hustle” brings together Bert Wojcik and Adam Rubright as co-hosts. Focusing on the entire world of motorsports, including local, regional, and national action on dirt and pavement, The Hustle is sure to be engaging for all fans of the sport.
Airing on Thursday nights from 8:00-9:00 PM, the curtain will rise on the initial episode on January 7. Kicking off the week before action starts at the world-renowned midget race in Tulsa, the show will have a distinctly dirty feel early on.
Looking ahead to all of the action coming from Oklahoma, the guys will be interviewing guests, and answering your comments on air. After a one week break for the midgets, the show returns on January 21.
Wojcik said of his love for the sport, “It started at young age like everyone else. I started attending races weekly at Big Diamond in 2007 with my dad, and learned a lot of ins and outs by helping some friends on teams in 2009 and 2010.”
Wojcik spent several years as co-host on another program before joining the NRN family as well.
Bringing a background on the inside of the sport, Rubright has worked on and around cars for over a decade.
Of this new project Rubright said, “Over the last 3 or 4 years I picked up a camera and began taking pictures at various tracks throughout central Pennsylvania. Taking photos started out as a hobby but has quickly became a passion. I’m looking forward to this new venture in my racing career and eager to learn new things.”
NRN Executive Producer Chris Graham said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have a couple of guys like Bert and Adam on our team. They bring a unique style and passion for the sport which is hard to come by. We spend as much time laughing as working when we talk, and I can’t wait for the fans to experience everything about the Highside Hustle.”
The Highside Hustle will air every Thursday night from 8-9 PM during the off-season, with the potential to expand to two hours as the season gets underway. Episodes will air live on the NRN family of social platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.
Episodes will be available for download the next day in podcast form on all major podcasting services. More information, including early episode guest lists will be provided as the first episode draws closer.
