Story By: JUSTIN BELTRAME / DIRT TRACK HEROES – EASTON, PA – With CDC guidelines of capacity issues and many unknowns with the pandemic the Dirt Track Heroes show scheduled for March 5-7 at the Palmer Park Mall has been cancelled. The good news is, the event is already booked for 2022.
“After a huge success in 2020, 2021 was set up to be an even bigger and better show, but with too many uncertainties, government guidelines, and state guidelines in place we are forced to cancel” stated Justin Beltrame event organizer. The Palmer Park Mall, a huge supporter of the show, agreed with Beltrame. Mall management is making strides in the former Bon Ton site as they have it all cleaned out all the shelves and tables and are looking to make even more improvements before next year’s show. Beltrame met with the management team on Thursday and while plans for this year were scrapped the discussion about next year took place. “The sky’s the limit for next year as the management team and I discussed the improvements in that space as well as brainstormed some outside the box ideas for next year” Beltrame said with excitement. While we looked at future dates in 2021 it was just too hard as there is a small window in March due to the racing season getting underway earlier each year depending on weather depending.
