CJB Motorsports Scores Two More Top-10’s; OH Sprint Speedweek Kicks Off Friday At Attica

Story By: NATALIE JACKSON / CJB MOTORSPORTS – CARLISLE, PA – It was a big week of racing for Paul McMahan and the CJB Motorsports crew with the Flo Racing All Star Circuit of Champions.

McMahan kicked off the week with a stop at Fairbury (Illi.) American Legion Speedway on Thursday, June 3rd. McMahan timed in 9th, finished 4th in his heat race, won the dash and finished 10th in the feature.

The next night, the team took to Wilmot (Wis.) Raceway. McMahan timed in 12th, finished 3rd in the heat race and 22nd in the feature.

For night three, the RE Pierson Constructions, Nyce, Crete and Landis Block and Concrete, Ecynbro Trucking, C&S Lawn and Landscape and High Performance Lubricants #5 was in action at the Plymouth (Wis.) Dirt Track. McMahan timed in 9th, finished 5th in the heat race, 2nd in the dash and 6th in the feature.

For the final feature on the weekend, the team was at Angell Park Speedway near Sun Prairie, Wis.timed in 13th, finished 6th in the heat race and 10th in the feature.

The CJB team now gets ready for a grueling run of events; the Ohio Sprint Speedweek. A eight race; nine night stretch that will take the team and the tour around the state of Ohio. McMahan will run the full week while Buddy Kofoid will run Monday and Tuesday nights events.
