Story By: RYAN DELPH / TIM MCCREADIE RACING – PLYMOUTH, OH – With all of the pressure off from clinching his first-ever Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championship last weekend in Georgia, Tim McCreadie and the Paylor Motorsports team celebrated their achievement in the series finale on October 15-16 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio!
After Friday’s preliminary action was washed out by heavy rain showers, the 41st edition of the ‘Dirt Track World Championship’ was held in its entirety on Saturday at PRP.
Tim stopped the clock fourth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his heat race.
After starting the $100,000 to win headliner from the inside of the seventh row, Tim was able to pick off eight competitors during the 100-lap distance en route to a strong fifth place performance behind only victor Ricky Thornton, Jr., Brandon Overton, Jonathan Davenport, and Mike Marlar!
The Paylor Motorsports team and Tim McCreadie would like to thank all of our great sponsors, product supporters, and fans for a tremendous 2021 season with the ultra-competitive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series!
Tim would also like to thank his family, which mean the world to him, car owners Donald and Gena Bradsher, as well as each of the valued crew members that work hard each day on his #39 machines at the shop and at the racetrack!
