Story By: RYAN DELPH / TIM MCCREADIE RACING – LAS VEGAS, NV – The Paylor Motorsports team wrapped up their version of the 2021 racing season on November 12-13 in the ‘Duel in the Desert’ at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The XR-promoted weekend out west kicked off on Friday night with a $25,000 to win opener. Tim McCreadie stopped the clock second fastest in Group B during qualifying before securing a heat race triumph.
After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lap main event, “T-Mac” moved up a spot in the running order to land on the podium in third behind only victor Jonathan Davenport and runner-up Brandon Overton!
The season finale on Saturday evening at LVMS was a lucrative one for the #39 team, as a $50,000 paycheck was up for grabs in the final night of the ‘Duel in the Desert.’
Tim laid down the second quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session prior to picking up yet another heat race victory.
The Watertown, New York superstar then started the 77-lap headliner from the inside of the second row and ran as high as second early in the contest.
Unfortunately, Tim drew a lap 63 caution flag and was forced to settle for a disappointing seventeenth place showing in his final event of 2021.
