The car show is a great way for your race team to show off their equipment for the 2022 season whether it be a totally new race car, a new paint scheme, or new sponsors who have come on board to support your racing endeavors. And you just never know when a local businessman or a person just walking by will notice your race car and you may gain a new sponsor out of it. It is also great for the fans to get a look at the cars before they take to the speedway for the 2022 racing season!
BD Motorsports Media LLC who promotes the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway, will have tables set up with schedules, apparel, and all the information that drivers and fans may need as the 2022 racing season is set to begin. Season passes for the grandstand and pit area will also be available. Brett Deyo and his team at BD Motorsports Media LLC would like to thank you in advance for your support of the car show and the Fonda Speedway.
The Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series (MVVDMS) will also be a part of the car show with their area called “Vintage Alley”. They will be representing the many eras of our racing past from the 1950’s up to the late 80’s with nine beautiful cars. The organization will have a booth set up with schedules and information on their series available along with their rules.
New York State Stock Car Association (NYSSCA) memberships will be available at the MVVDMS booth along with NYSSCA 250 Club tickets. Northeast Stock Car Old Timers (NESCOT) memberships will also be available at the MVVDMS booth as well as their monthly lottery tickets. The Other Greaser Side and other stickers will also be for sale and that money will go to the drivers.
The Northeast Stock Car Old Timers (NESCOT) will also have a table set up to sign up new members, sell their Month of May Raffle tickets along with NESCOT apparel and tickets for their annual Steak & Chicken Bake on August 21.
Once the car show is completed the next event on the 2022 Fonda Speedway schedule will be an Open Practice on Saturday, April 9 with a rain date of Sunday, April 10. Gates will open at noon with practice from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Opening Day for the 71st consecutive season of competition at the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway will be on Saturday, April 16 as Carole and Alton Palmer of Palmer’s Service Center presents all regular divisions in action with points beginning for all divisions.
