Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Releases Action-Packed Schedule Of Events For 2022 Season

Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is gearing up for their 19th season of offering exciting stock car racing in the hills overlooking the Mohawk Valley. The fast, quarter mile has officially released their 2022 racing schedule of events.

Racing will take the green flag each Sunday evening from May 1st through September 18th. The pit gates will open at 3 PM each week with the grandstand gates opening at 4 PM. Hot Laps will take to the track at 5:30 PM with the first heat race taking the green flag at 6 PM. General Admission is set at $10 with kids seven and under $4. Pit Admission will be $25.

Just like in seasons past, the weekly program will consist of the Man With The Red Chair DIRTcar Sportsman, Yurkewecz Auto Crushers DIRTcar Pro Stocks, Limited Sportsman, Street Stocks, Swagger Factory Apparel DIRTcar Mini Stocks and Northeast Paving & Sealcoat Slingshots (All-Star and Junior).

The season kicks off on May 1st with all divisions in action. The race for the 2022 points titles will also kickoff on Opening Night. It will also be $1 Hot Dog Night courtesy of The Man With The Red Chair and Free Popcorn will be available courtesy of Jay Fitzgerald Racing and Classic Muscle Parts.

The remainder of the month of May will see Mother’s Day Night on May 8th (with free flowers courtesy of Natural Bridge Farm), VP Small Engine Fuels Night on May 15th, American Cancer Society Relay For Life Night on May 22nd and Heroes Night on May 29th (Free admission for Veterans and Active Military Members).

Little League Night will kick off the month of June. All Little League players in uniform will receive free grandstand admission. On June 12th, Yurkewecz Auto Crushers presents the nights activities which includes the Futures Fortune Fifteen – a 15-lap event for the Junior Slingshot division.

The first of two visits by the DIRTcar Sportsman East Region Series takes to the track on June 19th. New Day Motors, Inc. will present Bring a Buddy Night on June 26th. If you buy one general admission ticket, you will get one free.

July will see the Mid-Season Points Blast open the month on the 3rd with the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series coming to town on the 10th. On June 17th Topless Night will take to the track with the Hall of Fame Classic 40 for the DIRTcar Sportsman taking center stage on June 24th. It will also be Hall of Fame Night. The month ends with Kids Night, presented by Riley Mortuary on July 31st. There will also be a Powder Puff race.

The month of August will see NYSSCA Night open things on the 7th followed by Northeast Paving and Sealcoat Night on the 14th. The DIRTcar East Region Sportsman Series will make their second appearance on August 21st with Fan Appreciation Night taking to the track to close the month on the 28th.

New Deal Used Cars Night will open the month of September; On September 11th the track will celebrate our first responders with Local Responder Night (Free Grandstand with I.D.). The season will conclude on September 18th with Championship Sunday (all points will end).

The always popular Wheels of Fury Enduro Series will return in 2022 with a four-event schedule. The event dates are June 5th, July 17th, August 14th and September 11th.

Fans with Social Media access will be able to watch a Facebook Live Pre-Race and Post-Race show hosted by new track Lead Announcer Toby LaGrange and Assistant Announcer Brady Houser. More details on this and other Social Media plans will be released very soon.
