Double The Fun Saturday At Orange County; Twin 50’s For Modifieds Paying $5,000 Each

Story By: JOHN SNYDER / ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY – MIDDLETOWN, NY – The racing will be fast and furious on Saturday, May 21, when the United Rentals DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds take to the track in a pair of 50-lap feature races.

The top-12 drivers from qualifying heat races will draw for starting positions with the balance of the field lined up from their heat race finishes.

After the first 50-lap feature race, the evening of racing excitement will conclude with a second 50-lap romp around the five-eighths-mile clay-surfaced speedway.

The starting order for the second feature will be determined by a fan spin of an “Inversion Wheel.” Each feature will pay the winner $5,000, with a bonus of $5,000 for sweeping the night. Dana Distributors (Budweiser brands) is the night’s presenting sponsor.
