Information By: RON SZCZERBA / FONDA SPEEDWAY – FONDA, NY – For the first time since September of 2013, Matt Delorenzo captured a victory at the Fonda Speedway.
During that time, however, he did become the promoter of the speedway for a bit, but now he’s back to being just a racer, and took home the Modified victory Saturday night.
Delorenzo took the lead from Rocky Warner on lap 13 and led the rest of the way with Stewart Friesen coming in second. Warner was third with Ronnie Johnson in fourth and early leader Jessica Friesen completing the top five.
