Empire Super Sprints Champ Jason Barney Finally Gets First Career Albany-Saratoga Victory

Story By: TOM BOGGIE / ALBANY-SARATOGA SPEEDWAY – MALTA, NY – The Empire Super Sprints made their first appearance on the season with defending point champion Jason Barney came away with his first career victory at Albany-Saratoga in the 25-lap feature, which paid $2,400 to win.

Barney and Chuck Hebing, who finished second and chased Barney through lapped traffic, put on a show for the Malta fans, while Danny Varin, who had won three of the first four ESS features, came across the finish line third.
