Story By: ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY – MIDDLETOWN, NY – It has become a yearly tradition at the Orange County Fair Speedway to have a Saturday race night during the season to acknowledge the construction industry.
And the 2022 season is no different.
On July 9th, it will be Construction Night at OCFS.
The night’s sponsors are United Rentals, UDIG-NY, Orange & Rockland Utilities and E. Tetz & Sons.
An exciting program of racing is lined up to race on the newly resurfaced Hard Clay. The United Rentals Big Block Modifieds will be having their usual 30 lap feature. It will be the first race for the 12 Modifieds that have qualified to race for the $30,000 championship prize.
The always entertaining Arkel Motors Sportsman and Precision Hydraulic and Oil Rookie Sportsman will be having their regular races. And the Empire Super Sprints cars will be making their first ever appearance at Orange County Fair Speedway.
Also included in the night’s activities is a pre-race Construction Vendors and Equipment Display and a Construction Parade during intermission. There will also be an exclusive Construction Industry Happy Hour from 5pm-6pm. Racing starts at 7 pm.
OCFS is offering a special invitation to contractors and the construction industry to treat their employees and customers to an exciting night at the races. Three different packages are available.
- Package #1- $360: Buy 15 tickets at $24 and receive 20 general admission tickets (a $120 savings)
- Package #2- $720: Buy 30 tickets at $24 and receive 40 general admission tickets (a $240 savings)
- Package #3- $1080 Buy 45 tickets at $24 and receive 60 general admission tickets (a $360 savings)
The presale discount ticket sale ends on Thursday, June 30th.
