Story By: ANDREW REIGEL / UTICA-ROME SPEEDWAY – VERNON, NY – This Friday night (June 17), the Patriot Sprint Tour (PST) will make their first appearance of the 2022 Season at the Utica-Rome Speedway on A-Verdi Storage Containers/Broedel Energy Night at the Home of Heroes.
The PST 360 Sprint Cars will race for 25 laps around the ultra-fast half-mile speedway for the series’ first of two appearances in 2022.
Davie Franek of Wantage, N.J., holds the Patriot Sprint Tour point lead by 16 points over Jordan Thomas after two events.
In the two events contested so far in the 2022 campaign the Patriot Sprint Tour, Franek and Jason Shultz have picked up one win each.
Joining the Patriot Sprint Tour Friday night will be the Sunoco Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation Graphix Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
For the June 17 program, all gates open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are slated to begin at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow at 7:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $18 for Adults and $16 for Seniors (ages 65 and above). Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.
Pit Admission is $30 for Utica-Rome Speedway/PST members and $35 for non-members.
