Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The 13th Annual Labor Night at the Races to benefit the United Way will take place this coming Friday night at the Ransomville Speedway.
A full card of racing will be presented as well as the makeup Minivan and SUV Demolition Derby presented by Triple T Towing. Live Edge Brewing will also be presenting the racing action at the Big R.
Labor Night at the Races is presented by Highmark of WNY in conjunction with the AFL/CIO Niagara-Orleans Labor Council. To date, Labor Night has raised nearly $150,000 for the United Way of Greater Niagara. The event grows every year with more fans taking part in the special pre-race festivities, including a cookout, prize giveaway, and a race car display.
Pit gates will open at 5:00 pm, with grandstands opening at 6:00 pm and racing will get underway at 7:15 pm. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, youth aged 12-17 and seniors 60+ is $17and kids 11 and under are admitted free. Pit passes are $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
Fans that had pit wristbands and rain checks from June 3 can turn them in at the gates for admission for this Friday night.
