You may have seen Dan at a dirt track somewhere across the country. If not, keep an eye out for this knowledgeable guy in a Five Star shirt at all the major dirt racing events!
“Having been a longtime friend, advocate, and supporter of Five Star Race Car Bodies, I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to join the Five Star team. As the dirt racing market continues to evolve with new technologies and an increased focus on body panel durability, ease of installation, and aerodynamics, there are many new and more desirable options than have been available previously. Five Star is the unquestioned leader in the industry in designing and producing these body components which are designed to save racers and teams a lot of manual labor while also providing a flame retardant, durable, easy to use product. I look forward to representing the MD3 brand and Five Star with a stronger presence in the field of dirt racing to foster relationships and to communicate with teams, chassis builders and sanctioning bodies to fine tune existing products and to seek out new product opportunities that fit the needs of the industry and to provide the best products possible.” said Dan.
Robinson has been in the racing industry for many years now. In 2009, Dan became not only the Series Director / Promoter but also the General Manager of the Lucas Oil Speedway. Fast forward 9 years to 2018 and Dan became the Director of Racing Operations with Lucas Oil Products and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Motorsports Operations. Early on in 2022, Robinson joined the marketing and multimedia company XR as their Chief Operating Officer. He helped organize events like the Bristol Dirt Nationals and focused on producing high impact events and streaming broadcasts in the racing industry.
Now, in present day, Dan is the MD3 Key Accounts Manager at Five Star Race Car Bodies. Five Star is the industry leading manufacturer of advanced composites, polycarbonate windows, and thermoformed plastics. Our technologies are born from the tight-tolerance, high performance world of auto racing, making us the leader in developing lighter and stronger automotive exterior components.
