Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The second race that honors the life of 11-year-old Mackenzie Kulesza will take place Friday night, July 22 at the Ransomville Speedway.
The KiPo Motors Street Stocks will race a 30-lap feature to honor Mackenzie as part of the full race card of Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds, Investors Service Sportsman, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman.
The race is in honor and memory of 11-year-old Mackenzie Kulesza who died tragically following a car accident in November 2020. Kenzie’s nature was to see everyone smile. She was known to act like a clown just to see someone smile and had a huge passion for animals and always made sure she would buy something for someone else, every time. Kenzie would be that girl that would jump in a mud puddle while wearing a skirt and have the biggest smile there was. To Kenzie, there were no boundaries for age to earn her friendship. The race will feature a lap sponsorship program and there will be a basket raffle in the concourse throughout the night.
Fans will have a chance to go onto the track and get their favorite driver’s autograph during intermission. Drivers will have tons of giveaways to hand out to the fans in attendance.
Pit gates open at 5 pm, grandstands open at 6 pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15 pm. General admission is $18 for adults, $15 for youth (aged 12-17) and seniors (60+), with kids aged 11 and under admitted FREE. Pit admission is $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
