
Story By: JUSTIN SNYDER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – After a week off from racing, Port Royal Speedway returns to action with a three-division Open Wheel Madness spectacular brought to you by Bobby Rahal Toyota of Lewistown this Saturday!
The Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars, the PennsValley MeatMarket PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Cars and the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars will compete as part of military appreciation night at the track!
GA- $20, Student- $10, Pits- $30…Military w/ proper ID will receive free admission.
Gates Open at 4:00, Racing at 7:00
In Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Car action, Gerard McIntyre enters as the most recent victor as he scored his first-ever triumph at the facility two weekends ago!
Logan Wagner still sits on top of the standings in search of his fifth consecutive track championship over Mike Wagner (-130). Jeff Halligan (-195), Lucas Wolfe (-555) and Justin Whittall (-610) round out the top five.
The 305 Sprint Cars will compete in a regular full program before also taking part in a make-up feature from a few weekends back.
Garrett Bard holds a narrow 15-point advantage in the standings over Doug Dodson followed by Kenny Heffner (-35), Mike Alleman (-105) and Ken Duke Jr. (-115).
Finally the USAC East Coast wingless sprint cars will return to the facility for their second and final visit of the 2022 racing season!
Briggs Danner enters as the most recent victor at the Speedway during the 2022 season. He also holds a commanding 104-point lead in the series standings over Alex Bright. Steven Drevicki, Ed Aiken and Joey Amantea round out the top five!
