RPW Column: One Sweet Night For Josh Coonradt At OCFS; Wins Pro Stock Special Thursday

Column By: MIKE TRAVERSE / RPW – MIDDLETOWN, NY – Josh Coonradt, who won the 2021 Eastern States Pro Stock race, made a successful return to OCFS on Thursday.
Coonradt swept both the feature race and the dash for cash, earning a nice bonus in addition to contingency money.
The driver from Mayfield, NY sped off from his pole starting spot and led all 20 laps to take the win in the VP Fuels sponsored race.
Jason Casey was second with Ivan Joslin in third.
Chucky Dumblewski came in fourth with the patriarch of the Casey family racing team, Jay Casey, completing the top five with Chris Stalker in sixth, Sean Corr seventh and Frank Twing in eighth.
Racing returns to OCFS on Saturday, August 13th with the Big Blocks, H.O. Penn Small Blocks, Arkel Motors Sportsman and Precision Hydraulic and Oil Rookies all in action.
