Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Professional sprint car driver Brock Zearfoss and his team Brock Zearfoss Racing, who just concluded their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, are pleased to announce that Milton Hershey School will join Zearfoss’ efforts for the 2023 season.
Milton Hershey School and Zearfoss will work together to boost the team’s on-track potential and promote the school’s rich history and mission of nurturing and educating children in social and financial need to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
“I had the chance to spend some time at MHS earlier this year, and everything about their campus, including their staff and students, is incredible. To represent an entity like Milton Hershey School, a name with so much history and impact right in our own backyard, is truly humbling,” said Zearfoss. “My team actually had the opportunity to host a student on race night at Williams Grove Speedway last season. He was our honorary crew member, and now, I’m pretty sure, a fan for life. Just a great experience all around.”
Milton Hershey School is one of the world’s best private schools, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where qualifying students in pre-K through 12th grade live on campus and receive an exceptional educational experience—with all costs covered. Milton and Catherine Hershey founded the school in 1909 with money they earned from the chocolate company. Since then, the lives of more than 11,000 children from qualifying families have been transformed through high-quality education and structured home life.
“World of Outlaws employs select drivers from across the country, and Brock is a top-tier competitor from our local area. We are so excited to work more closely with him and his team this coming year because of their genuine desire to engage our students,” said MHS Senior Director of Enrollment Management and Family Relations Nadine Krempa.
“Growing up in central Pennsylvania, Brock understands what MHS is about. He has been an excellent champion for our students by offering them hands-on experiences, both in the classroom and in the pits at the races. We couldn’t ask for a better role model for our students,” added Krempa.
“We’re going to do everything we can to compete at the highest level for Milton Hershey School, simultaneously promoting their mission, and the people and communities they serve,” said Zearfoss. “Hopefully we can turn a few more students into sprint car fans, as well!”
