Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – In November the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park announced that the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series would be heading to the track during the 2023 season. Since then, the interest and momentum for the first time ever event has been off the charts.
The only thing missing was the exact date of the event.
Well, that date has been finalized.
The inaugural Mohawk Valley DIRTcar 358 Showdown will take place on Sunday June 4th and will pay $4,000 to win. The night will also include the remaining DIRTcar Sunday Night divisions competing in a regular, points paying program.
The Red Chair DIRTcar 358 Modifieds are now a weekly division at The Ridge. More information on the return of the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds to the weekly program, including the weekly payout and drivers who have committed to calling The Ridge home in 2023 will be released soon.
The 2023 season kicks off for The Ridge on Sunday April 23rd with the inaugural Spring Fling car show and meet and greet day. A tentative practice session is scheduled for Sunday April 30th with opening day scheduled for Sunday May 7th.
