Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – With the calendar now showing 2023, the management at the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is in full gear preparing for the 20th year of stock car racing at the fast, quarter mile oval.
The 2023 season will be one for the record books at The Ridge as the DIRTcar 358 Modified division will join the weekly program which will once again be promoted by Ray Sefrin and Butch Hazzard.
The backbone of any race track or series are the marketing partners who help support them. The Ridge is excited to announce three of those partners who have come on board as division sponsors.
The DIRTcar 358 Modified division will make its debut when the green flag drops for the first time on Sunday May 7th. When it does, it will be known as the Red Chair DIRTcar 358 Modified division. “Red Chair” is in reference to longtime area motorsports supporter known as “The Man With The Red Chair”.
Yurkewecz Auto Crushers returns as the headlining sponsor of the DIRTcar Pro Stock division. The Yurkewecz Auto Crushers family have been supporters of the racing at The Ridge since almost day one and will continue to do so in 2023.

Northeast Paving and Sealcoat returns as the title sponsor of both the All-Star and Junior Slingshot divisions. The Northeast Paving and Sealcoat All-Star Slingshot division will race for a full purse in 2023, which includes $300 to win. If more than 20 drivers enter the event then the winners share moves to $500 to win. The Junior Slingshot division will pay the top three finishers this season.
For over 20 years Northeast Paving and Sealcoat (NPS) has been proudly serving the Hudson Valley of New York. They also service Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. NPS offers sealcoating, paving, crack sealing, line stripping, asphalt repair and stamped asphalt.
