Bridgeport Motorsports Park Forced To Cancel Doug Hoffman’s 60-Over Special For Sunday

Story By: BRIDGEPORT MOTORSPORTS PARK – SWEDESBORO, NJ – With significant rain Thursday and Friday, along with an all-day wet forecast for Saturday, the officials at Bridgeport Motorsports Park have decided to cancel the Doug Hoffman Memorial event that was scheduled for Sunday.
With no sunshine until race day and an early start time planned, the track just did not see that the facility and surface will be dry enough to put on a safe and exciting event.
Thank you everyone that were still planning to attend Sunday’s event.
The track will now set focus on next week’s HUGE Sprint Car and Modified Opening Weekend. A spectacular two-day event is in place for race fans and racers of all disciplines, presented by Capitol Renegade.
Next Weekend, the 410 Sprint Cars will cap off an incredible Open Wheel Weekend plus the Danny’s Pizza Pizzazz Modifieds, Sportsman, & Street Stocks.
