Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – It was a tough weekend in Posse Country for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, but despite the frustration that eventually unfolded, “Double-D” is ready and eager to move on, already setting aim on another potential trio this Friday through Sunday, March 31 – April 2.
If all goes according to plan, and Mother Nature cooperates, Dietrich will visit Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Swedesboro, New Jersey’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park in consecutive fashion
As mentioned, Dietrich’s recent weekend in Posse Country was just as chaotic as it was frustrating, eventually capping his three-race turned two-race slate with back-to-back DNF outcomes, the first at Lincoln Speedway due to narrow conditions, and the second at BAPS Motor Speedway due to tire trouble.
Dietrich was battling outside of the top-ten when he decided to retire in the Pigeon Hills, forced to start deep after getting upside-down during his respective heat race. Adding insult to injury, Dietrich was leading at the time of his tire issue at BAPS, ultimately forced pit side to change it but failing to return.
“Just not my weekend…not much else to say,” Dietrich said. “All we can do is work hard this week and try again this Friday through Sunday. Hopefully the weather cooperates and gives us some raceable surfaces.”
