Guaranteed Starting Spot In Fulton Speedway’s Outlaw 200 On The Line At Glen Ridge May 28th

Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – When the leaves start to turn and those of us in the Northeast Motorsports World turn our attention to the historic end of the season events that dot our sport, none come any bigger than the annual Outlaw 200 at the Fulton Speedway.
This year will be the 37th for the event that boasts a winners list full of hall of famers and a hefty $20,000 winner share.
The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is happy to announce that they will be sending a representative to the 37th Annual Milton CAT Outlaw 200 this year.
On Sunday May 28th, as part of the 20th Anniversary Season Celebration, the Red Chair DIRTcar 358 Modified feature event winner will earn a guaranteed starting spot for annual fall classic.
With the Super DIRTcar Series in action elsewhere on May 28th, the nights action will offer show-up points for the Red Chair DIRTcar 358 Modifieds.
Also on the card will be the Classic Muscle Parts DIRTcar Sportsman, Yurkewecz Auto Crushers DIRTcar Pro Stocks, Limited Sportsman, Street Stocks, DIRTcar Mini Stocks and the Northeast Paving & Sealcoat All-Star and Junior Slingshot divisions. The Slingshot divisions will also have a special event on this night.
In 2022, perennial Super DIRTcar Series Modified Champion Matt Sheppard brought home the Outlaw 200 victory over Mat Williamson, Mike Mahaney, Billy Dunn and Chad Phelps.
The 2023 season kicks off for The Ridge on Sunday April 23rd with the inaugural Spring Fling car show and meet and greet day. A tentative practice session is scheduled for Sunday April 30th with opening day scheduled for Sunday May 7th.
