Story By: LAUREN MAGURA / DAVIE FRANEK RACING – SUSSEX, NJ – Davie Franek has claimed the 2023 United Sprint Car Series (USCS) Winter Heat Series championship title in dominant fashion for the second year in a row, solidifying his position as one of the top drivers in the sport.
The USCS Winter Heat Series is a highly competitive racing series featuring some of the top sprint car drivers from across the country, taking place from January through March 2023.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have won the Winter Heat Series for the second year in a row,” said Franek. “It’s been a motivational season so far, and I’m so grateful for the support of my team and fans. This is a huge achievement for all of us, and I am excited to see what we can accomplish for the rest of the 2023 season.”
Franek had an incredible 2022 season, winning the USCS Winter Heat Series Championship, the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) CNY Speedweek title, the Patriot Sprint Tour crown, and secured second place in points for the overall ESS season. He started off the 2023 season in the same impressive fashion, earning three wins, eight top-tens, and several top-fives during the 360 Sprint car Southern swing. Franek also ranked number one nationally in the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings. Franek’s impressive and consistent performance throughout the early 2023 season has earned his position as one of the top sprint car drivers in the country.

For the remainder of the season Franek has plans to continue to run 360 shows including the Empire Super Sprints, and break out his 410 sprint car and compete more frequently with the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1, led by NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart. He will also make several Eastern appearances with the High Limit Racing Series, a high-profile, big-dollar mid-week race event that offers up to $50,000 in purse money. The series is run by 2021 NASCAR champion Kyle Larson and World of Outlaw veteran Brad Sweet.
