Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – “Double-D” Danny Dietrich is a busy man, not only working hard to prepare for three Central Pennsylvania starts during the coming weekend, but a High Limit Sprint Car Series start, as well, joining car owner Randy Gass at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Tuesday, April 11.
Dietrich, who highlighted his recent swing of action with a five spot rally from tenth at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 8, will battle for a $50,000 payday in the High Limit start; one of 26 full-time aces planning to follow the tour in its entirety in 2023.
After his trip to the Sunflower State, Dietrich will return to Gary Kauffman Racing and begin preparations for an elbows-up tripleheader on Friday through Sunday, April 14-16, visiting Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and BAPS Motor Speedway in consecutive fashion. Although Dietrich has yet to be victorious this season, the Gettysburg native owns eight top-ten finishes including a podium run against the Outlaws in their season opener at Volusia Speedway Park.
“A busy week ahead, but I’m ready,” Dietrich explained. “I’m excited to race with the High Limit Sprint Car Series. It’s an opportunity to race for some really great money while not interfering with any of our schedule at home. Randy Gass has given me that chance and I’m thrilled for the opportunity. We’ll have some things to figure out, but I’m ready to go.”
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another big weekend in Posse Country, this time setting aim on starts at Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and BAPS Motor Speedway on Friday through Sunday, April 14-16. In addition, Dietrich will drive for Randy Gass in Lakeside Speedway’s $50,000-to-win High Limit Sprint Car Series event on Tuesday, April 11.
