Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing are heading home, and although sleeping in their own beds is a bonus, the World of Outlaws season continues, set to take on a full slate in Pennsylvania Posse Country beginning with a midweek visit to the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday, May 10.
Right up the road, action will continue with back-to-back appearances at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13. The trio will be highlighted with the $17,000-to-win Morgan Cup at The Grove on Saturday.
Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, will return to the Keystone State fresh off of a pair of starts at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, highlighting the Let’s Race Two double with a 12th-place score in the weekend opener on Friday, May 5.
A former standout in Central Pennsylvania before hitting the road, Zearfoss is a past Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway, as well as a prior Port Royal Speedway track champion.
“It’s a special week for us, and it’s a special week for race fans. We’re excited to get home and compete in front of all of our partners and fans,” Zearfoss said. “There’s nothing we want more than to win. Maybe a bittersweet feeling for Posse fans, but we know we have their love and support. Let’s see what happens.”
Fans are reminded, on Thursday, May 11, from 4:30-7 p.m. Milton Hershey School, Hersheypark, and World of Outlaws will host the ultimate Hershey Sprint Car Experience. The event celebrates modern-day racing while paying tribute to those who raced at Hershey Stadium Speedway 84 years ago. You read that right—Milton S. Hershey built Hersheypark Stadium in 1937 to be a speedway. From the outside looking in, you might question what Milton Hershey School, Hersheypark, and World of Outlaws have in common. A lot—and it all ties back to Mr. Hershey.
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a swing through the Keystone State, first visiting Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, May 10, followed by back-to-back visits to Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13.
