Story By: CHRIS MOORE / SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES – MILLSBORO, DE – Winning ways, continued. At the end of each race night, only one driver goes home with the “big check” and glory.
Again in 2024, all winning drivers will head to Bicknell Racing Products (BRP) Victory Lane to claim that check with the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco.
Bicknell Racing Products is the standard in the Northeast dirt Modified industry with a commitment to winning. The BRP brand again anchors Victory Lane as the title sponsor for the entire ’24 STSS campaign stretching geographically from Florida to Quebec.
“There is no doubt, winning and Bicknell Racing Products go hand-in-hand,” STSS series director Brett Deyo said. “Putting the BRP logo on our Victory Lane for the series is a perfect fit.”
Bicknell Racing Products got its start when Pete Bicknell was in high school building his first racecar as a senior project. More than 40 years later, the St. Catharines, Ont., chassis manufacturer has developed into the industry leader with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
The Bicknells – Pete and Nancy – teamed with partner Randy Williamson to build BRP into the current 20,000-square-foot facility with manufacturing and retail space.
BRP also offers a larger Niagara Falls, N.Y., Retail & Warehouse location in addition to a growing dealer network.
Bob Slack became a partner in the company in ’07, assuming operation of the machine shop division of BRP with the latest in CNC machinery.
A new chapter for BRP is the addition of Canadian Stock Car Products, a leading manufacturer of roll bar kits for various applications of racing.
Year No. 11 for the STSS begins on Tues.-Sat., Feb. 6-10 at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla. for the fifth annual ‘Sunshine Swing’ presented by Capitol Custom Trailers & Coaches.
Four nights of racing are preceded by a practice night to open the ’24 campaign for the STSS.
