Short Track Super Series Modified Tire Rule Set For Fonda 200 September 12th-14th
Story By: BRETT DEYO / SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES – FONDA, NY – The stage is set for one of dirt Modified racing’s most iconic and historic events: the Fonda 200.
Fonda Speedway hosts the three-day racing festival Thurs.-Sat. Sept. 12-14 headlined by the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Fonda 200 for the big-block/small-block Modifieds.
STSS and Fonda Speedway officials have set the Fonda 200 tire rule for 2024.
To start and at all points during the 200, teams must utilize the American Racer D3B right-rear; American Racer D1B left-rear; American Racer 48 right-front; any American Racer left-front.
During Friday night’s Qualifying Races, Saturday’s B-Mains and Thursday night’s ‘Underdog 33’ event, teams may run the standard Fonda Speedway American Racer compounds: American Racer 56 right-rear; American Racer 48 left-rear; American Racer 48 right-front; any American Racer left-front.
