Story By: STEVEN PETTY / HUMBERSTONE SPEEDWAY – PORT COLBORNE, ONT – The final events in the history of the Humberstone Speedway will be coming up this weekend, October 4 and 5th as Glenn Styres Racing proudly presents the Fall Classic.
Racing will take place October 4th and 5th, with October 6th serving as a rain date if needed.
Racing will kick off on Friday, October 4 with the 358 Modifieds racing in a $2,000 to win, 35-lap feature. The Crate Sprints, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Mod Lites will all be on the card. Pit gates will open at 3:00pm, with grandstands opening at 5pm, and racing will get underway at 7pm.
Racing on Saturday, October 5 will feature the Southern Ontario Sprints in a $4,000 to win event. The 358 Modifieds, Crate Sprints, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Mod Lites will all be in competition. Pit gates will open at 2pm, with grandstands opening at 4pm, and racing will get underway at 6pm sharp.
Grandstand admission prices are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors, youth 7-17 are $20, with kids 6 and under being admitted FREE. For those entering the pit area, the digital waiver MUST be filled out. The waiver can be found on the speedway website.
Camping is available for free all weekend long, however, speedway management asks that all camping to be done on the perimeter of the property to maximize grandstand parking.
If needed, Sunday October 6 will be utilized as a rain date.
