Story By: BEN SHELTON / COMP CAMS SUPER DIRT SERIES – CONWAY, AR – Two Dollar Pistol Motor Speedway (Plumerville, Ark.) on and Arrowhead Speedway (Colcord, Okla.) take center stage for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models this Friday and Saturday.
Both events post a $5,000 winner’s check.
With just eight events remaining on the 2024 CCSDS slate, two-time series champion Logan Martin holds the distinguishment of being the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man with a 23-point advantage in the series standings over Morgan Bagley (-79), B.J. Robinson (-94) and Jon Mitchell (-122) rounding out the Top 5.
Scott Crigler, Clayton Stuckey, Brandon Ball, Austin Vincent, Charlie Cole, Jarret Stuckey, Jon Kirby, and Chance Mann complete the latest points.
Texarkana, Texas’ racer Brandon Ball is 19 points in front of Austin Vincent from Moody, Mo. in the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle.
On Friday, September 13 Two Dollar Pistol Motor Speedway (Plumerville, Ark.) makes its CCSDS debut. IMCA Modifieds and Factory Stocks will also share the night’s spotlight.
Pits open at 4 p.m. CT with grandstands at 5 p.m., hot laps at 6:40 p.m. and racing action at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand admission (ages 14-and-up) is $20 with kids (ages 9-13) $10, and children (ages 8-and-under) free. Pit admission (ages 14-and-up) is $35 with kids (ages 9-13) $20 and children (ages 8-and-under) free.
Action shifts to Arrowhead Speedway (Colcord, Okla.) on Saturday, September 14 for the tour’s second appearance of the year at the state-of-the-art oval. Logan Martin emerged victorious in series’ competition back in March 15. Also in action at the Green Country Clash will be the American Sprint Car Series.
Pits open at 4 p.m. CT with grandstands opening at 6 p.m. and hot laps at 7:30 p.m. with racing action to follow. Reserved grandstand admission is $35. General grandstand admission (ages 13-and-up) is $30 with kids (ages 6-12) $10 and children (ages 5-and-under) free. Pit passes are $45 (ages 6-and-up).
