The 2024 Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco STSS Modified NJ Quality Drywall South Region and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman Belmont’s Garage South Region championship battles conclude this weekend – Friday-Saturday Nov. 1-2 – at Delaware’s Georgetown Speedway.
Alex Yankowski of Covington Township, Pa., holds a slim 30-point edge on Walden, N.Y.’s Anthony Perrego in STSS Modified competition entering the Mid-Atlantic Championship.
Recently crowned River Valley Builders North Region champion Matt Sheppard of Savannah, N.Y., sits third, 38 points back. Mat Williamson of Saint Catherines, Ont., is fourth, 41 points behind. Danny Bouc of Pipersville, Pa., is fifth, trailing the lead by just 48 points.
Championship points – utilizing the 150-point structure – will be awarded this weekend, translating into a 90-point swing from first to last.
