Column: Dylan Kirkland Starts Planning For 2025 Hometown Racing Season

Column By: JIM CLARKE / DYLAN KIRKLAND RACING – MAITLAND, ONT – After logging some impressive stats during his 2024, Maitland, Ontario’s Dylan Kirkland is looking to welcome some additional marketing partners to his DIRTcar Sportsman Modified program for the upcoming schedule.
With a resume that saw the 29-year-old speedster log 4 top 5 finishes on the way to a 3rd place showing in the overall Brockville Ontario Speedway standings – where nearly 40 different teams were part of the line-up throughout the season – Kirkland says he’s excited at the opportunity to have some new backers come on board as the No. 88K team rolls into the new year.
“The crew put in some hard work behind the scenes and at the track throughout the year and that effort showed in our results,” said Dylan Kirkland. “We hope that finding some additional sponsorship support will allow us to build on our strong finishes and allow to travel to some to bigger events on the 2025 schedule.”
While looking for added partners to join the program for the upcoming season, Dylan Kirkland is thankful to Rycon Electrical, Eastern Ontario Eavestrough, Dirt Outlaw Apparel, Draper Doors, Hodge’s Flooring, Surprenant Truck Shop, Mike Becker: Snap-On Tools, L.A. Knapp Inc., KD Construction, Corner Garage Powersports and Clarke Motorsports Communications for their support over the years. Many of last year’s backers will continue to be part of the team when the new season’s first green flag waves.
