Holiday Greetings From The Brewerton Speedway; 2025 Season Schedule Taking Shape
Story By: BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – BALDWINSVILLE, NY – Brewerton Speedway Management wishes our fans, racers, sponsors and staff a joyous, safe and healthy holiday season.
Officials have slotted a May 2, 2025 Season Opener for Central New York’s Friday night home for DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds racing. Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, AmeriCU IMCA STARS Mod Lites and Mirabito DIRTcar Four-Cylinder Superstocks will continue to be the weekly core classes during a summer long season.
The DIRTcar Modified class sponsor the past thirteen years, Tracey Road, continues their support of Brewerton’s headline class in 2025. A full season of Big Block races are planned under the DIRTcar banner. The 358-Modified bonus that has been offered weekly since 2021 will continue as well. Brewerton’s modified field topped 28 average entries in 2024 and a similar field is expected in 2025.
DOT Foods, located at 200 Monarch Drive in Liverpool, NY, will return for sixth season as the title sponsor for the DIRTcar Sportsman class. With the past two year’s champions, Nicholas Root and Zach Sobotka, both moving to different classes, the track championship will be up for grabs.
The AmeriCU IMCA STARS Mod Lite class remains a fixture at the track. Zack Babcock had a banner season in 2024 taking the track championship over 2022 champion Mike Mullen and Joe Garafolo in a point battle that came down to the final night. Look for another competitive season of Mod Lite activity in 2025 and the return of the Beast of the East Showdown, a high paying weekend show in August.
The Mirabito DIRTcar 4-Cylinders showed significant growth in 2024 and the class remains an integral part of Brewerton’s weekly card. Track Champion Chris Bonoffski used his strong season to earn the overall DIRTcar NE 4-Cylinder crown and was honored in November at the DIRTcar Banquet. Brewerton will again participate in the DIRTcar points program in 2025.
Additional classes will visit the D-Shaped Dirt Demon throughout the 2025 campaign. The ESS Sprints will again join us for the three summer Holiday weekends. Wingless 600 Micro-Sprints will return to the speedway with at least three visits, as well. Fulton’s Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks will be on the schedule, as will the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour in July.
The Super DIRTcar Series SummerFAST will return to Brewerton on Monday, August 18 as part of a swing of four straight nights for the Northeast’s premier travelling Modified series. The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series and “Beast of the East Mod Lite Nationals will join the card. The Hurricane Harvey was lost to rain in 2024 but will be on the schedule for Tuesday, October 7. The Super DIRT Week staple will again feature the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series and the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series.
The final schedule is taking shape with an early February release scheduled.
