Whittall Qualifies For High Limit Int’l Finale; Australia Tour Continues At Bunbury Wednesday
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – KWINANA BEACH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – Justin Whittall’s Australian debut has been more than respectable, not only highlighting his four starts to-date with an A-Main appearance in High Limit Racing’s $100,000-to-win High Limit International blockbuster at Perth Motorplex on December 30, but the young man out of New Jersey opened his Down Under campaign with a top-ten at Perth Motorplex on December 26 – finishing tenth in round one of Western Australia Speedweek.
Although limited to just one top-ten in his first four Australian starts, Whittall’s overall stat card with RBH Racing has been impressive, racing on to qualify for all three High Limit International A-Mains on December 28-30 and commencing action from third on night two and tenth on night three. Despite his top result of the weekend being a 17th-place run on December 28, followed by a pair of 19th-place scores on December 29 and 30 (negative results attributed to a plethora of bad luck), the experience gained has been priceless, already setting focus on an upcoming start at Bunbury Speedway on New Year’s Day.
“Just an incredible experience so far and I couldn’t be more grateful,” Whittall expressed. “Just a dream come true to be racing on the other side of the world. We have a lot of racing left on our plate and I’m excited to continue. We’ll keep working hard and the results will come.”
