Zearfoss Concludes $100K High Limit Int’l With Top-10; Australia Action Continues New Year’s Day
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – KWINANA BEACH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss has been on a tear in his return to Australia, not only piloting Sean Carren’s No. U95 to four straight top-ten appearances, but ultimately concluding his December schedule with a fantastic performance in the country’s richest sprint car event on December 30.
Dubbed High Limit International, Zearfoss finished sixth in the $100,000-to-win Perth Motorplex main event, commencing action from the outside of row four. The “Jonestown Jet” helped the Americans claim three of the top six spots with Kyle Larson winning the High Limit jackpot followed by Brad Sweet who finished fourth.
Brock Zearfoss and Sean Carren opened their 2024/2025 Australia campaign with a podium score – finishing third, officially – during round one of Western Australia Speedweek at Perth Motorplex on December 26, followed by ninth and sixth-place finishes in High Limit International preliminary action on December 28-29. Zearfoss’ sixth-place score on December 29 was the product of a massive rally from the back, commencing the evening’s main event from 19th on the grid.
“It’s been a great run so far and I’m proud of our efforts,” Zearfoss was quick to mention. “We have a short turnaround before we’re back to work at Bunbury on New Year’s Day, but we’ll be ready. Sean [Carren] does an incredible job with these cars and I’m confident even bigger results are ahead.”
Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2024/2025 Australian campaign with action at Bunbury Speedway on New Year’s Day.
