Story By: MIKE WARREN / DIRTCAR – WEEDSPORT, NY – Like the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series, the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series continued its growth, with drivers across New York, Massachusetts, and Canada running every race in 2024.

Now, they’ll have even more chances to earn paydays in 2025 as the schedule has increased to 12 races this season, including four new venues.

What’s New

The first of four new events in 2025 comes at Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday, June 15. It’s the first time the Series has raced at the Ontario oval since 2019, when C.D. Beauchamp scored the win on the road to his lone championship.

Then, a return to Quebec is up next when the Series visits Autodrome Drummond on Saturday, July 19. The last time the Series raced at the “F1 of Dirt” was in 2018, when three-time Series champion Jocelyn Roy earned one of his four Series wins.

The final two new stops on the 2025 schedule are both in September. First, the Series stops at Mohawk on Saturday, Sept. 13. Chad Jeseo won the last two events at the Akwesasne, NY track in 2021 and 2022.

Finally, the Series returns to Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 27, for the first time since 2008. The track will be an even playing field as no one who ran the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series in 2024 has a victory at the Canandaigua, NY track.

Crowning A Champion

The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series is unique because it crowns its champion on the Northeast’s biggest stage.

For the fifth straight season, the champion will be crowned at the conclusion of the DIRTcar Pro Stock 50 at Super DIRT Week 53.

That allows two drivers to earn glory when they leave Oswego Speedway with a win in the most prestigious race in Pro Stock racing and the series title on the line.

Since the champion was first crowned at the “Clay Palace” in 2021, the champion has gone on to win the race 50% of the time, with Jeseo (2021) and Luke Horning (2023) taking the checkered flag.
