Diverse Slate Of Races Awaits DIRTcar Sportsman Competitors In 2025

Story By: MIKE WARREN / DIRTCAR – WEEDSPORT, NY – In 2025, the DIRTcar Sportsman Series has again been split into regional formats.
From April to July, drivers will compete across four regions: the North, East, West, and Central in their quest for a championship.
Their finish at the end of the regional schedule will earn them points toward the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series, showcasing the best Sportsman drivers in the Northeast.
The Championship Series combines the best of all four regions into a 10-race battle to determine the 2025 DIRTcar Sportsman champion.
Big Stages
The DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series will battle in several marquee events throughout its 11-race schedule, with eight of the 11 events televised on DIRTVision.
They’ll also be paired up with the Super DIRTcar Series on five occasions, including four consecutive races starting with a stop at Ransomville Speedway on Tuesday, August 12, for the Mike Bonesky Memorial.
The marquee event on the DIRTcar Sportsman Series schedule is also with the Beasts of the Northeast, when drivers battle for Super DIRT Week 53 glory in the Chevrolet Performance 75 at Oswego Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 11.
Along with Super DIRT Week, the Sportsman will be part of two other weekends showcasing all four Northeast Series. They’ll join the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series during Malta Massive Weekend at Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Friday, Sept. 19, and crown a champion during Brockville’s Fall Nationals on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The 2025 season finishes on one of the biggest stages in motorsports, as the Series returns to The Dirt Track at Charlotte Oct. 30-Nov. 1 for the World Short Track Championship with the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series.
