Clash Motorsports Productions Partners With Lias Tire & American Racer For 2025 Season

Story By: JEFF GROMIS / CLASH MOTORSPORTS PRODUCTIONS – JONESTOWN, PA – Clash Motorsports Productions has partnered with Northeast tire distributor Lias Tire Racing Division and American Racer Tires to be the exclusive tire of the returning Appalachian Speedweek and newly formed Fall Clash events in 2025.
American Racer Tires have become a popular choice over the past few seasons amongst Super Late Model racers in the Mid-Atlantic Region due to their cost-saving nature – selling for $210.00 each – while offering a repeatable and winning product to the racers.
“From the onset the vision I had for this series revolved around strengthening super late model racing in the northeast,” series president Jim Bernheisel commented. “I believe that limiting compounds and introducing a lower cost tire coupled with our great purses and excellent points will do just that. I have carefully considered many factors and have concluded that this is the best way to achieve our goals.”
In 2025 Clash Promotions has 18 races scheduled with $619,000 in prize money and $66,000 in point money up for grabs. There will be an additional $15,000 in various bonuses for heat wins, fast time, etc.
“In total there will be over $700,000 being paid out for just 18 races! Our partners, like Lias Tire and American Racer, will help make this possible.” Bernheisel added.
“Jim and I have had a relationship for many years,” Lias Tire Racing Division president Dustin Leverknight said. “I can speak for all of us at Lias Tire/American Racer we are excited to partner with Jim and his series as the official tire of these events.”
“The past few years have been great seeing the return of the Appalachian Speedweek which have always been some of my favorite events of the year,” Dustin added, “traveling around with the teams for the week. And the new Fall Series has created some new events bringing more attention to the Super Late Model division in the September and October months that we’ve been missing.”
The Appalachian Speedweek will once again kick off June 6 to begin its “8 races in 10 days” mini-series across eight different tracks in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. The tire rule for the Speedweek series will be any American Racer SD-44 and harder.
Fall Clash events, starting Labor Day weekend at PA’s Bedford Speedway, will begin the limited compound selection rule, right rear tire options will include, American Racer 92.0/11.0-15BT SD-48/PRO2/PRO4 and left rear / front tire options will include, American Racer 88.0-11.0-15BT SD-44/SD-48/PRO-2.
