Story By: DIRT MODIFIEDS AUSTRALIA – ALLANSFORD, VIC, AUSTRALIA – The roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber filled the air as the 2025 Australian V8 Dirt Modified Championship reached its climactic conclusion at the Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway. Kevin Britten, determined as ever, was about to etch his name further into the history books.

Britten had come into the weekend with one goal in mind: to make it six. Six National V8 Dirt Modified Championships. His performance all weekend had been nothing short of stellar, taking three heat race wins and claiming the prestigious Silver Fox Award. But it was the main event, the thirty-five-lap race, that would crown him as the 2025 National Champion.

The green flag waved, and the field rocketed off the line. Britten quickly established his dominance, leading from start to finish. The racing was fast and furious, with every lap delivering breathtaking action. David Clark, starting from the ninth spot, wasted no time in making moves. He charged through the field, battling side by side with Britten throughout the race, eventually finishing second. Chris Corbett, who had started in sixth, surged forward to claim third, while Mark Robinson’s grit and skill saw him charge from tenth to fourth.

But it was Scott Cannon who made the most dramatic rise of the night. Starting fifteenth, Cannon fought his way through the field, completing an incredible comeback to finish in fifth place.

As the checkered flag flew, Britten crossed the line first, securing his sixth National Championship title. The crowd erupted into cheers, but Britten remained focused, a true testament to his determination and skill. Celebrating with victory donuts.

The podium was set. Britten, Clark, and Corbett stood tall, with Robinson and Cannon rounding out the top five. Owen Scott claimed the first-place overall sportsman driver award, adding another layer to the night’s excitement.

The remaining feature results from sixth place onwards were: Joshua Rose, Andrew Pezzutti, Zac McDonald, Brock Gardiner, Blake Eveleigh, Brayd Stephenson, Daryl Hickson, Seiton Young, Jack Smith, Phil Roberts, Matt Reddecliffe, Owen Scott, Brett Clarke, Tyler Scott, Paul Markulin, Rodin Blackman, Michael Ardley, Paul Tindal, Zeke Edwards.
